Fall 2008
Preview for The Men's Shoppe at J. Kleinbauer |
| |
Our Fall 2008 offering in the Men's Shoppe at J.
Kleinbauer Company will show many exciting, new looks as
well as many traditional standards in men's clothing and
accessories. "Soft coats" will continue their
importance for Fall. Soft coats are sport jackets with
little or no padding. They are important pieces to wear
with premium denim and other casual slacks. We'll have
a nice offering in soft coats primarily from Kroon, a
major directional force in this area. To wear with
them, we'll have great premium denim from Indigo Palms
and Island Soft. We'll also be showing denim models in
alternative fabrics including distressed corduroy from
Bill's Khakis. Speaking of Bill's Khakis, their newest
fabric, Vintage Twill, has taken off at the speed of
light! Vintage Twill is slightly lighter in weight than
their basic twill. Due to a special washing process,
they will feel like your favorite khakis on the first
wearing! A definite trend has emerged in casual slack
models. We’re
seeing almost all casual slacks as flat front models.
Obviously, jeans have influenced this but khakis
and cords have fallen in line as flat fronts.
We can always get pleated models and will
continue to stock some basic khakis in pleats.

By this point, you're probably thinking we have slacks and
jackets but what do we wear underneath them? We have the answers!
We'll continue showing great sport shirts by Robert Graham, Robert Talbott,
Indigo Palms, Bill's Khakis and
Island Soft. Bill's khakis and Robert Talbott will anchor our more traditional looks in sport shirts while Robert
Graham, Indigo Palms and Island Soft will offer some more contemporary looks.
Sweaters and knitwear will continue to feature proven successes such as Raffi,
Tulliano, Robert Banks and Robert Talbott. To this mix, we're adding
super, new looks from White and Warren, Ryan Roberts, Autumn Cashmere
and Nicholas K, all very strong voices in the men's contemporary industry.
The fabric assortment will range from cotton to super fine merino wool to super
soft cashmere. Earth tones and darker colors will be dominant this fall in many
areas of clothing both casual and dress.
Look for navy/brown combinations in dress and casual wear. |

Outerwear will be exciting this fall. We'll have some
great jackets and parkas from Wellensteyn and Rain Forest. As always,
we'll have leather by Remy and some additional pieces by Indigo Palms and Island
Soft. |

We
didn't throw out the baby with the bath water! As
always, we'll have suits and sport coats by Coppley, H.
Freeman and Tallia, to name a few. Two button models
with side vents have become equally important and will
hang beside three button models in suit and sport coats.
We'll have dress slacks from Ballin, Coppley and
Tallia. We
continue to straddle the pleat or flat front issue in
the dress slack category.
Our dress slack offering will include double
reverse pleat, single reverse pleat and flat front
models. We're
adding some wonderful dress shirts by Coppley including
their custom dress shirt program. Custom clothing will
continue with Coppley and H. Freeman as will custom
shirts with Individualized Shirts and Robert Talbott.
Interesting neckwear from Robert Talbott and Florence
Style will be the perfect compliment to any of our suits
or sport coats. Don't forget Allen Edmonds foot wear,
Pantherella hosiery and belts by Martin Dingman and
Torino.
We welcome your visit this to the Men's Shoppe
this Fall! |
